With roots in agriculture, stunning vista points, and a unique Heritage District, you get an overwhelming sense of “ahhh….” Many wineries have amazing vantage points, and one in particular (Konzelmann) is lakefront with a beautiful picnic area. You can also checkout vintage hotels and have traditional afternoon tea at places like the Prince of Wales.
Tobermory Dreaming of glassy turquoise waters? Think that’s only available if you go to some tropical destination? Wrong! We have amazing crystal clear waters off the shores of Tobermory in Ontario. The shades of blue will take your breath away, as well as the beautiful tree lines shores. You can even snorkel and scuba dive here and explore shipwrecks! What more can you want from a summer getaway?
Toronto Even if you are a local, how often do you explore the city as a tourist? Go to a Blue Jay’s game, journey up the CN Tower, tour the Steam Whistle brewery, and take a walk in High Park. You will feel like you are on a mini vacation and really remember why this city is so great.
Algonquin Provincial Park You can portage to a remote camp site and truly feel one with nature, check out their visitor centre to discover the unique history, or simply take a hike off the main highway. Moose, bears, beavers, and deer sightings are commonplace in this pristine forest. Algonquin Park should be on everyone’s list to see this summer!
Ottawa Hey Justin! This iconic Canadian city allows you to visit parliament, eat amazing poutine, walk along the canal and discover ByWard Market. Right on the border of Ontario and Quebec, you have a mix of culture here that is truly Canadian. Ottawa is a special place that every Canadian should see at least once!
